USA: Hurricane Henry hits US coast off Rhode Island

Tropical Storm Henry has hit the mainland coast of the northeastern United States, the U.S. Meteorological Agency has said.

Authorities are increasingly calling on residents to be vigilant about the risks of flooding and power outages.

The storm hit the US coast at the height of Rhode Island at 12.15 local time today, according to the National Meteorological Service.
