The children not having the economic possibility to ask a funeral home to transport with hearse their father in his village in Albania, they decided to transfer him with their car.
They thought, however, that he could not make the transfer of the seats, so they decided to wrap him in a carpet (!) and to put him on the grill of the car (!) to go to the bury.
Everything was going according to plan until they arrived in the morning near the Kakavia fish soup. There they stopped until morning, but for bad luck, they fell asleep. Just dawned fearful found that the mat with the dead man had “wings” and so started searching.
After some time, the agony has come to an end as well as near a stream they found the mat open and the dead father. After the funeral, on their return to Greece, so they wanted to know what had happened.
Asking learned that this particular night two farm who were gypsies they did walks in the villages of the area, stealing whatever they find unguarded, and so they reached the conclusion that the mat was stolen by those.
Think about it, of course, the scare of the perpetrators, when they unfurled the rug and they faced him dead.
