UNBELIEVABLE! Did you know that for the Prayer?

The orthodox nuns and buddhist monks, enhance the brain abilities through prayer and meditation…
but even atheists can enjoy the benefits of religious belief, in accordance with an american neurobiologist.
In his book “How God changes your brain”, dr. Andrew Newberg argues that the key is “the calming effect of the intense prayer in our brain”.
The surveys show that the constant meditation brings about changes in gray matter and increases the areas of the brain related to attention and compassion, while calming the areas associated with fear and anxiety. Regardless of whether the person who is praying or meditating, he believes in a higher power, the author says, the result is the same: reduce the negative thoughts and feelings.
“In essence,” says Newberg, who is the head of the Centre for Brain and Spirituality of the University of the Country, “when we think about the big issues of life – religious, scientific or psychological – your brain is developing. And it doesn’t matter if we are christians, muslims or hindus”.
The scientist speaks of the “neurotheology”, the study of the role that plays the brain in religious faith, and aims to shed light on what’s going on inside our heads when we invoke God.
“The two most powerful forces in human history are religion and science,” concludes the Couple. “If we try to bring them side-by-side, you will understand each and every one, and the world in a much more effective way”.
