Ukraine’s Drones hit 12 Russian oil refineries

Drones of the long range, hit 12 oil refineries so far during the war, said today source of Ukrainian intelligence services to Reuters. Officials in southern Russia Krasnodar reported that drones in Ukraine attacked the oil refinery in Slaviansk, 70 km north of the regional capital, during the night. The Ukrainian source stated that the refinery, which processes approximately 4.5 million metric tons of crude annually and produces fuel mainly for exports, was attacked by an operation conducted by the SBU security agency and other Ukrainian forces. “The agency continues to implement a strategy aimed at undermining Russia’s economic potential and reducing the flow of petrodollars that the enemy is directing to war,” said the source. “In total, drones of SBU have recently successfully attacked 12 oil refineries in Russia.” The number does not include operations carried out by the Ukrainian military intelligence agency GUR, which also attacks refineries with drones, said a second source of intelligence services.
