U.S.: $500,000 Compensation to Police Officer Who Was Fired For Having Sex With Six Her Fellows · Global Voices

Tennessee, Maegan Hall, managed to earn $500,000 compensation, winning the lawsuit she had filed after her dismissal when she was revealed to have done with six of her colleagues. The 28-year-old police officer was fired in January 2023, after she was revealed after an internal investigation that she had sexual relations with several police officers in the Nashville suburb – some of whom were fired and others suspended. The rookie police officer responded with a lawsuit, claiming she was abused by her superiors, including police chief Burrel ‘Chip’ Davis and Sergeant Lewis Powell, a 15-year-old police veteran. During the investigation interview, Hall stated that she had participated in “strip Uno” sex games, had exchanged spicy photos and had participated in swing parties to change partners with her colleagues. In an interview, Hall had stated features: “I became an idiot, I got desperate, I guess, and men are men and they’re going to shove their shit into anything.” She was then justified by saying that at that time she was having a hard time with her husband as they were on the verge of divorce. The financial settlement includes court fees, lawyer fees and city insurance costs. The city’s board voted 3-1 in a special meeting in favour of settling the lawsuit.
