In specially designated areas, the unknowns growers took care of a total of 163 seedlings of cannabis, while in full swing, are the investigations of law enforcement authorities to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
More specifically, the two plantations were detected in the morning in the area of the Municipality of Mylopotamos, in the framework of the special plan of exploration for the fight against the cultivation of seedlings of cannabis, which has been organised by the local ELAS.
The police operation involved officers of the Department Narcotics Rethymnon, the sub-directorate for Security of Rethymno, Department of Security Geropotamos, of the Special Missions of Crete and of the Group for the Prevention of Repression of Crime Rethymno.
The 163 trees, which were uprooted and confiscated, cultivated with diligence, and was of height up to 2 meters, in the development stage.
