Two minors were arrested with a stolen machine in New Smyrna

Two were arrested by police in , as they were spotted moving on stolen engine early Wednesday morning (20.03.24). As it became known by EL.A., the two minors, aged 16, were arrested by police officers of the Direct Action for – where appropriate – theft in co-operation, disobedience, dangerous driving and violation of the drug law. Police officers on patrol spotted the two minors riding a two-wheeled motorcycle for which theft had been declared and called to check, Despite the use of sound signals made by police officers, the motorcycle driver developed speed and violated red signalers in order to escape capture. The defendants then left the motorcycle and moved on foot however above police spotted them and immobilized them. It is noted that in the possession of one of the two 16-year-olds, a quantity of raw cannabis weighing 0.5 grams was found and seized. The arrestees, with their against the New Smyrna Security Department, were taken to the competent prosecutor.
