market in eastern Baghdad today, police said.
The explosion occurred in the (mostly) shiite neighbourhood of Jamila, where a suicide bomber detonated the explosives that he had placed in his car at the entrance to the central fruit and vegetable market of the market of Baghdad.
Currently no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
This is the latest in a series of attacks that have rocked the iraqi capital and other cities of the country in the space of just one week, with the result that they lose dozens of people.
The responsibility for many of the attacks has taken the Islamic State, which is under pressure from the iraqi army and under the united states international coalition in Mosul.
