Turkish roadblock in orthodox icons for Church in Edirne

Incredible complaint filed in Parliament by the independent mp Nikos Nikolopoulos for…
challenging and unreasonable behaviour of the Turkish customs officials that blocked entrance to the neighbouring country of Orthodox Christian icons.
According to mr. Nikolopoulos, four Greeks from the city of Komotini was placed in the back of a small truck Crosses and images that were donated for the iconostasis of the orthodox Church Constantine and Helen in Edirne.

On this issue the minister of Foreign affairs Nikos Kotzias responded by saying that “the behavior of specific customs bodies of Turkey was unacceptable”.
