Trikala: “Bloco” in the MP of the South West Katerina Papakosta from families of Tempes victims not to attend the parade

She abstained from the parade for the National Anniversary of 25 March in Trikala, the New Democracy MP and member of the Committee of Inquiry, following reactions from relatives of victims to . The parade started shortly after 12.00, with Katerina Papakosta to not finally give the present to the official platform, despite the fact that according to thestoday.gr, her name was originally on the list, after the “block” by the families Plakias who lost their twins and cousin in the Tempes tragedy. The victims’ relatives placed 57 roses on the platform in the memory of the victims and asked for little respect for Mrs Papakosta not to attend. At the same time, they invited participants not to turn their heads towards her if she finally came. The government was represented by Minister of Development Costas Skrekas and as the families of the victims announced, they have no problem with any politician other than Mrs Papakosta, but also the other members of the Committee of Inquiry who present themselves in other parades across Greece. The New Democracy MP yesterday sent a message through social media, stating, inter alia, that: “We turn our eyes to the institutions that safeguard the right of each and every one to coexist, respecting each other’s freedom.”
