«Smoke” became the revenue from the tax on cigarettes because of the slump in sales. In May and despite repeated increases in the excise duty on public funds went only 97.2 million compared to 183.6 million last year. Ie, in a twelve-month period decreased by 47.05% while the tax rate from 73.5% jumped to 85.7%. The revenue in May, compared with April 2010, was reduced by 39.25%. The decline in sales of cigarettes comes from the price increase, but the drug is increasing rapidly. The script of “rescue” involves lowering the price to expensive cigarettes, namely 3.5 million package from 3.8 million sold today.
