Today (6.3.2024) was published by TAIPED the Call for Interest in the launch of the competition concerning the acquisition of a majority percentage (at least 50% plus one share) in the share capital of the Organization. The company “Laurius Port Authority S.A. » (ALL S.A.) has the exclusive right to use and operate the fields, buildings and facilities of the Lavrio Port through a Contract of Concession concluded with the Greek State with a duration of 60 years from its entry into force (valid until 2062). The duration of the concession contract may be extended and once a decision has been taken, it will be announced on the TAIPED website, prior to the publication of the Call for Tenders by investors qualifying for the second stage of the tender procedure. The port of Lavrio, due to its proximity to popular tourist destinations, such as the Cyclades, but also the airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”, is especially offered for tourist development, with activities such as cruise and docking recreational vessels.
