Through the NSRF, the continued operation of the day centre of Nea Anchialos

The NSRF 2014-2020, the funding of continuing Operation of a day centre in Thessaly…
Were included in the NSRF / E.E.E. Thessaly 2014-2020, and in particular in Priority Axis 2.a “Development and utilization of capacities of human resources – active social inclusion”, the following acts, with a total budget of 403.340,00 €:
• “Continuation of Operation of Day Care Centers for the Elderly (day centre) in Thessaly / Municipality of Trikala”, budget to 89,000 € to Beneficiary and Operator of the Municipality of Trikala
• Continuing Operation of a day centre Volos, Agria, New Aghialos”, budget 314.340 € beneficiary and Operator of the ΚΕΚΠΑ-CONTENDER of the Municipality of Volos,
After the completion of the assessment by the Management authority.E. Region of Thessaly, signed by the regional governor of Thessaly mr. Kostas Bought, the inclusion of acts in the Programme with co-financing from the European Social Fund (ESF).
As said ok. K. Αγοραστός: “In the difficult economic situation experienced by the country, the support of our fellow human beings is an act of supreme responsibility for the Region of Thessaly. Through the action of the day centre provided day care services for elderly people who are not able to look after themselves completely (motor difficulties, dementia, etc.), of which the family environment that the takes care of, works or is facing serious social and economic problems or health problems and is unable to respond to the care that has been taken. We stand with respect and concern for fellow human beings and strengthen, in practice, networks of social support”
The funding relates to the continued operation for one year of Day Care Centers for the Elderly (E.The.F.The.), that provide day care services for elderly people who are not able to look after themselves completely (motor difficulties, dementia, etc.), of which the family environment that the takes care of, works or is facing serious social and economic problems or health problems and is unable to respond to the care that has been taken. The beneficiaries of the Day Care Centers for the Elderly are expected to amount to 100 people.
