At the same time, the design shall provide for the establishment of special traffic control workshops, at alternating points on the road network, focusing, inter alia, on the attestation of dangerous offences, as well as on the basis of statistical data, which are responsible for causing serious road accidents, such as: *Driving under alcohol * Excessive speed *Mobile phone use when driving *Do not use protective helmets – seat belt * Irregular bypasses and double line crossings etc. *Non-use of special restraint and protection devices, such as seats, safety belts, etc., when transporting children with vehicles *Driving vehicles by minors and persons without a driving licence *Driving for demonstration of competence *Vehicle movement, which have not been subjected to regular or exceptional technical inspection within the specified time limit *Destorted tyres and *Unnormal movement of vehicles in the Emergency Strip (L.E. A.). Throughout the implementation of the measures, they will be in increased operational readiness, both the staff and the means of the Greek Police, especially the Police Traffic Services. In particular, patrol, motorcycles and conventional vehicles will be available, with the corresponding staff and equipment to effectively police the country’s road network.
