After Wisconsin, Jill Stein raised money for the Pennsylvania…
The former independent candidate for the White House, the ecologist Jill Stein, announced today that it has garnered the amount required for requesting a recount of the votes in the State of the Country, after a similar request for the State of Wisconsin.
In both of these States emerged winner, with a marginal difference, Donald Trump.
The Stein reported today on its website that it has collected more than 4.8 million dollars, from the 7 that they need to fund a recount in three States: Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
“After we completed the concentration of resources for the ανακαταμέτρηση in Wisconsin (where we will start the proceedings on Friday), and Pennsylvania (where money should have been collected until the Monday) will focus on the collection of money for the ανακαταμέτρηση in Michigan”, referred to on the website.
Associates of Stein explained that the new count is intended to show that the american electoral system is hardly reliable.
According to Stein, the three States were observed “statistical anomalies of concern”.
Hillary Clinton has admitted defeat in the elections and until today has not questioned the result. Although it garnered 2 million votes more than the Trump, the Republican candidate was the one who secured large electoral votes needed to become president (290 compared to 232 of Clinton). In Wisconsin (10 electoral votes), Clinton was defeated by a margin of 27,000 votes in Pennsylvania (20 electoral votes) with 60,000 votes, and in Michigan (16 electoral votes) with a 10.704 votes.
