“They’ve taken my hat, don’t do anything and find you” were his first words, injured yesterday Sunday (10.03. 24) after the hood attack outside her cinema “Olympion”, his daughter. The daughter of the officer who was injured, when a hooded man hit him with a helmet during the episodes that occurred outside the Olympian, Thessaloniki, spoke to SKAI and described what her father told her about the unprecedented incident. “He was afraid because his hat writes his evidence and name,” she stressed. As she said, speaking to SKAI on Monday morning (11.03.24), her father is out of danger and is at home on sickbay. Describing the blow he received to his head, he stated that his face is swollen under his eye. According to the injured cop’s daughter, her father was hit by children. She also pointed out that outside the cinema there were just five policemen, as the rest were scattered due to the sports games that were under way. “They were children 17-18-20 years old. They sent five police officers unprotected for the show,” his daughter said. In fact, as she pointed out, her father serves in Greek police 34 years, is 59 years old and in a few months he expects to retire.
