Thessaloniki: Police operation at AUTH with imports

Moments of tension outside Aristotle in the … Intervention at the School of Positive Sciences of the AUTH carried out police forces and proceeded to several people’s admissions, without the exact number yet being known. The police operation began after information that strangers tried to invite corruption to the under-built library, in the area of the former occupation of Biologicals. Police forces were at the entrances of Aristotle in Thessaloniki and some in the interior, with students chanting slogans against police. When the Police were called to remove people who had gathered outside the AUTH, on National Defence Street, there was a slight tension with people initially refusing to leave the site. Surroundly there are powerful police forces carrying out checks, in an attempt not to escape the situation and there are incidents. A group of individuals within the Faculty of Positive Sciences, came out at the entrance of the STHE holding banners and chanting slogans, calling for the removal of police forces from the campus.
