Thessaloniki: Over 2,500 imitation clothes seized – Two arrests

Arrests on counterfeits found in storage. At their expense, a file was formed… More than 2,500 imitation clothing were found in a storeroom in Thessaloniki, by the Department of Economic Police of Northern Greece in collaboration with the Ministry of Development’s Interservice Market Controls Unit. Two persons were arrested in the case and a case was filed against them for forgery, as well as infringements of the laws regulating the product market and unfair competition. As has become known, a total of 2,561 “monkeys” clothes were seized, while the arrested were taken to the prosecutor and by the DIMEA they were fined accordingly.
