There is much talk in the last few days on the refugee flows in Crete on the occasion of the three…
batches of refugees arrived within a few days on the island.
As has already been written cretapost, the first “batch” occurred on May 27 when it detected a boat off the coast of Sitia, with 65 migrants. A few days later, and in particular the afternoon of 31 May, a new ship is detected on the shore of St. Andrew (between Milatos and Αφορεσμένου) with 113 refugees.
Three days later, on 3 June, is the wreck with the hundreds of refugees 60 nautical miles south of Lentas in Crete in egyptian territorial waters. Found 10 dead, 340 people were rescued and promoted in different foreign countries while 320 refugees are ignored in accordance with the International Organization for Migration.
The forecasts for the island of Crete
