Mayor of Amaroussion mr Giorgos Patoulis turned on the largest natural Christmas Tree and gave the cue to spread the spirit of Christmas in every corner of the city, with the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Marousi to melodies-timed melodies.
By addressing a warm greeting to mr. Patoulis, along with the heartfelt festive greetings to the attendees at the event, he invited the whole city to participate in the Great Celebration, organized by the Municipality of Maroussi, in order to bring optimism, joy and lots of fun.
“We expect this year to celebrate together in our city, sending a message of optimism, of faith, of hope and humanity. A unique backdrop, with musical events, with a variety of events for children, ice rink, carousel, theme houses, concerts, with the presence of course, santa Claus will give you beautiful and happy moments to each of you ,in the company of his loved ones.
The aim of these events is to be kept alive in our hearts the spirit of Christmas. These Holy Days many of our fellow citizens are deprived of the obvious, home, food, family, love. Let’s try to do something for them. Let’s offer them something of what we have,” noted mr. Patoulis, wishing “happy birthday”, “Happy Holidays” to all.
The Mayor of Amaroussion also thanked from the heart of the popular ΜαÏουσιώτη artist George Τσαλίκη that went up to the stage pro bono and roused the audience with the mood and the songs.
The rich festivities in Maroussi will last until Thursday, January 5, 2017. In the events participate in artistic and charitable events associations and institutions of the city.
