“Philosophy of Aristotle”, with the participation of leading scientists from all over the world.
The Conference, which ends Wednesday, is held on the occasion of the 2,400 years since the birth of Aristotle, and under the auspices of the President of the Republic and with the support of the International Federation of Philosophical societies (the International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP). The aim is mainly to investigate and to emphasize the importance of the philosophical thought of Aristotle for the public things, but in general for global issues affecting humanity.
The Conference takes place in Athens, where Aristotle lived for most of his life, he studied for a long time and taught in Plato’s Academy, he founded the high School, taught and flourished. The archaeological surveys and excavations have recently brought to light the Lyceum of Aristotle, will be the focus of the Conference. Also, for the texture and quality of democratic citizenship, there will be special sessions with selected speakers at the sacred and historic site of the Lyceum, the Academy, of the Pnyx and of the Olympian Zeus.
