The built-in store for dedicated applications and functions ensures a personalized digital experience. A3 allstreet offers a new option to anyone looking for a premium model in the category C with the flexibility of a hatchback and the capabilities of an SUV. With its characteristic off-road appearance, with three cm longer distance from the ground and the elevated seating position, Audi’s new model offers an unbeatable choice with high levels of functionality and capabilities. Off-road appearance and increased ground distance “The Audi A3 allstreet stands out from the very first look. As a crossover in the premium compact category, it has a completely unique look. The aim was to use specific design elements to highlight even more clearly the greater distance of the car from the ground,” said Stephan Fahr-Becker, Team Leader Exterior Design of AUDI AG. Something successfully achieved thanks to targeted design upgrades, such as the vertical Singleframe mask in black matte color. Specifically, the large octagonal mask with its cellular structure lies high in alignment of the crossover even more with Audi’s Q models. Exclusively for allstreet, there are three “sticks” forward and back that enhance off-road character. In front, striations are incorporated into the characteristic end of the distinctive spoiler and back to the diffuser forming part of the rear bumper. Dark side marspies and decorative at the bottom of the doors enhance the strong allstreet appearance of the car and further highlight the increased distance from the ground. The special setting of springs / shock absorbers offers an excellent balance between the high level of comfort and sport, accurate driving experience. Combined with the largest diameter of the wheels, the result is that the A3 allstreet has a total greater distance from the ground by 30 mm. The highlighted protectives on the wings highlight the standard 17 inch wheels, while optional 18 and 19 inch wheels are available. Thanks to the slightly elevated seating position, the A3 allstreet offers increased comfort when boarding and disembarking, as well as better visibility. The luggage space has a capacity of 380 litres, reaching up to 1,200 litres with the rear seats folded. The roof rails are also standard. The optional features include the electric back door, the tow bars and the package of equipment for storing items. The latter allows the user to store small objects in nets attached to the rear of the front seats or to the driver’s side position. A net in the trunk prevents larger luggage from moving. The interior: Radically upgraded To keep up with the impressive body, the interior has also received significant upgrades. There are various innovations, from the design of the gear selector and the vents to the decorative fabric inserts and the new lighting. The basic equipment has also been enriched. In addition to the leather three-wheeled steering wheel with multi-function control includes air conditioning, cabin lighting package and front central sub-brachion. The new design of the wings, with a chromium finish on their outer surface, makes the air ducts of the optional air conditioning package look thinner, thus highlighting the width of the dashboard. The central console has been redesigned and has a new finish, which also applies to internal door handles. In addition to convenient pots, the central console has standard a subbrasion that is regulated both along and on its slope. The compact gear selector, for absolute control of the autobox S tric, also has a new appearance and thanks to its more flat design, is perfectly integrated into the central console. The standard interior lighting gives a new style to the doors and space corresponding to the legs. Additional lighting elements, such as the border on switches, doors and marspies, are optionally available. Standard is the corresponding contour lighting that runs through the central console and the water cabinets. A new design element is that the interior of the front doors has hidden lighting. The fabric panel was processed with laser 300 times in total in order to enable this operation. Five sections are illuminated by a light source on the door panel. Their different sizes create a dynamic flow of light – which also occurs when locking and unlocking the vehicle. 30 different colors of light can be selected through the MMI offering a high level of individualization. Large speakers for the new Sonos sound system are located at the bottom of the doors, creating a riveting listening experience with 3D sound. Also, there are two decorative textile linings in various places: a textured artificial which is also made of 100% recycled polyester and microfibres Dinamica. In addition to a decorative insert, Dinamica serves as seat lining and, in some interior packages, decorates the door mirrors. Dinamica looks and feels like a suede, but is partly made of recycled polyester. High connectivity levels: on demand applications and functions A3 allstreet is digital and connected – thanks to numerous connectivity services, on-demand functions and a store for app downloads. The basic equipment includes the digital DAB+ radio and the 10.1 inch touch screen along with the Audi virtual cockpit and a wireless smartphone charging position. In addition to the two USB charging ports- C located in front of the central console, standard are both extra back. Optional features include navigation of MMI navigation plus, along with full connectivity package and access to Audi store, allowing the driver to use a wide range of applications through the car screen. By integrating the store, customers can via a data link have direct and intuitive access to popular app on the MMI touch screen. Selected applications are installed in the infotainment system, without the need to use smartphone. Users can also interact with each other through voice commands. On demand functions ensure a high degree of flexibility. Even after buying the car, up to four individual infotainment and comfort functions can be added online through myAudi application, such as navigation of MMI navigation plus, including Audi connection services. Other functions include adaptive cruise assist, helping the large ladder of headlamps (high-beam assist) and the ability to upgrade standard air conditioning to bizonal. All functions can be available for one month, six months, one year, three years or permanent, depending on the customer’s individual needs. Smart aids: assistance systems for each occasion A3 allstreet offers standard high levels of safety. The Audi pre sense front, the collision avoidance and turn aid system and the lane change warning system, help avoid accidents with other road users. The adaptive cruise assist, which helps with longitudinal and lateral control and complemented by a lane change assist function, enhances the driver’s comfort. The system handles acceleration, braking and steering at speeds up to 210 km/h, while on highways it helps to change lanes at speeds above 90 km/h. Activated through the MMI, the system uses data from the rear radar to indicate whether and in which direction it is possible to change lanes through white arrows on the instrument panel and Head-Up Display. If the driver starts changing lanes by triggering the flash, the system actively assists the driver in driving. In traffic in the city, the park assist system with the sophisticated park assist plus, assists the driver in parking and rearing. The lane change warning (lane change warning), the exit warning (exit warning) and the help of cross rear traffic (rear cross-transfic) use the rear radar to control traffic back and next to the vehicle for even greater safety and comfort. With efficient engines A3 allstreet will initially be available in the 35 TFSI version, with 1.5 litre gasoline engine, yielding 110 kW (150 horsepower) and combined with seven-speed S tropic and mild hybrid technology. Two more publications will follow towards the end of the year. The first, with a plug-in hybrid transmission system and a combined power of 204 horsepower and the second with a dilitre engine, TFSI, a performance of 204 horsepower and four-wheel drive. A3 allstreet is manufactured at Audi’s factory in Ingolstadt and will be available on the Greek market by the coming May with sales prices announced very soon.
