The lake of death that is sucking the life out of whatever touches it…

It’s like the enchanted lakes in fairy tales. Only in this case it’s not a fairy tale, but the truth discovered by photographer Nick Brandt when he approached the shores of the lake Νέϊτρον in Tanzania.The spectacle is shocking and also unexplainable!Carcasses of various animals – mainly birds, mummified as if they stood for a while in the waters of the lake and to be sucked from through the entire life!The lake waters have a high sodium content, so that everything around the lake is dry. All living beings when the closing shall be converted into fossilized!This lake is essentially dead. The temperature of the water reaches 60 degrees celsius according to the scientific magazine New Scientist.
