The holidays have arrived! But what does it mean “vacation”?

Finally end! And after? What is the program? A vacation with a lot or a little money doesn’t matter. It’s a holiday and we have, first of all, opposing it to ourselves to have a good time.
What does it mean, however, on a vacation?
Etymologically, the word holiday means a by-κόπτω, so I stop what I was doing before and do something new and different. Easy until here. I’m stopping the daily work and I’m away from my routine. I leave behind my to-do list, the concepts and everything else that’s pressuring me. So, one of the first things that “cut” is the tv and the lengthy discussions on the economic crisis and the political situation of our country. Well, and how will I be informed of? Initially, for about 2 weeks is the average time of the holidays nothing will happen to me and if you don’t know. However it is good to remember that there are many other ways of media such as the printed press and the internet away from the tv.
The value of the holiday for our psychology is invaluable.
Studies have shown that people who routinely vacation face with greater ease the difficulties and have a greater life expectancy. The fact that someone’s on vacation gives you a quality of life. The kind of vacation doesn’t matter. Or prefer to visit the cottage, or the home of his parents in the village, either camping or opt for a luxurious hotel, the value of the holiday remains the same. The benefit we can get by on vacation, it is independent of the amount of money we can spend. What differentiates the above options is how you will use each of us the free time you will have to have a good time.
But, what does it mean I’m having a good time?
Often it has been observed that people who are especially charged in their everyday life, find it difficult to discover what it is that will help them to relax and to taste the joy of life.
Valuable assistance could be a list that we’ve made for ourselves before we go on vacation. This list we can start even today and at the time thinking, “Oh, have some time now to …”. It is also important to remember to fill out our list of what we think of as small and insignificant and if it is.
But not limited to, this list will help us to fill our batteries, could include:
• Ways of relaxation
-Nature walks
-Swimming
-Sunbathing
-Hanging out with our friends
Time with ourselves
• Creative jobs
-Water sports
-Sports on the beach
-Care of nature through an alternative volunteer program
-Painting
-Observation of the flora or/and fauna of the place where we are
• Care of our body
-Spa
-Massage
-Περιποίση facial or/and body with the help of special
-Turkish bath
-Hot tub
• Sleep
• Enjoyment of basic things such as a good food, a cool coffee…
Whatever you choose to do remember to disconnect from the stress and the concepts and to connect with the joy, play and peace of mind.
