According to today’s announcement of the Panhellenic Union of Αλιωματικών Coast guard (ΠΕΑΛΣ) decided jointly with the pan-Hellenic Federation of Police Officers (ΠΟΑΞΙΑ) to appeal after the issuance of the εφαÏμοστικής circular from the ministry of Labour, the Council of State, against the new insurance law.
This decision was taken as well, as they put it, “does not take into account the specificities and the risks of our profession, treating our way, horizontal, with other sectors of workers, who do not have the above characteristics”.
This decision comes immediately after the vindication of personnel of the Armed Forces and the Security corps of the State Council, which had appealed for a second time, as the previous government did not fully implement the decision to return the salaries of ενστόλων in the levels of pre-August 2012.
As stated in the relevant notice of ΠΕΑΛΣ on 13.05.2016 published nos. 1125-1128/2016 decisions of the Council of State, which deemed as unconstitutional the provisions of article 86 of law.4307/2014:
(a) in the strand reduced by 50% for a retrospective refund of the difference of the monthly earnings from 1-8-2012 to 15-11-2014.
(b) during the part of the revaluation for the future, below the level of year 2012.
With these decisions, the supreme administrative court vindicates once again the ceaseless struggle that gave the entire trade union movement of.A and E.D and recognizes in practice the special features of the profession of ενστόλων, the earnings of which have armor legally.
In practice and in view of the new insurance law which will benefit from 01.07.2016 the executives of the Security forces and the Armed Forces, these decisions ensure in favour of ενστόλων the new special payroll and pose as a starting point for the calculation of the new wage, the payroll of 2012 and not lower levels.
