For a better understanding of the
risk of cardiovascular disease because of the professional environment of a person, researchers from the CDC conducted a study that included 5.566 people aged 45 years and over.
The researchers analyzed seven modifiable risk factors for heart health, which the Company calls “Life’s Simple 7”, and rated the participants in these categories. These 7 factors associated with an increased risk for heart disease and strokes are:
– Blood pressure
– Cholesterol level
– The level of glucose fasting
– Body Mass index (BMI)
– Smoking
– Level of physical activity and
– Diet
