In relevant remarks advanced by the President of KEDE (C. Patootie during the greeting of the 3rd National Conference of Municipal and Regional Συμπαραστατών which began last night in Sounio and ends today, Sunday 2 October.
THE C. Patootie raised the issue of the diversity of control mechanisms and the need for Members to be treated as the elected officials of the local Government. Referring to funds managed by the regions, stressed that there should be a basic framework of meritocracy and transparency in order to avoid being identified in the self-Government phenomena favourable treatment based on partisan criteria.
