Thailand: A crane collapsed on a construction site, at least 7 dead

At least 7 people were killed in , when a crane collapsed on the construction site of an industry, local authorities announced. The accident occurred at 4 a.m. (local time), during the construction of a factory that will produce metal chimneys, in Rayong Province, Thailand, as local police chief, Chaipong Sangpongchai, reported. Such accidents are common in Thailand where businesses often fail to comply with safety rules or undertake projects without the required authorisation. In January, from explosion to fireworks factory in Supan Buri were killed 23 people while in July 2023 ten people were killed and 100 more were injured by an explosion in a Narativat town factory, in the south of the country.
