Terrorist attack in Moscow: Two of the arrested had traveled between Russia- Turkey

New information comes to light about the in and people who have been arrested as responsible for the massacre. Two of the suspects arrested for participating in the very dead terrorist attack in Moscow on Friday had traveled freely between Russia and Turkey, from which they departed together by plane on 2 March to return to Russia, as he told the AFP a source of the Turkish security authorities. “The two people were free to travel unhindered between Russia and Turkey, in the absence of an arrest warrant against them,” said the official, speaking on condition of anonymity. The nationality of the two persons was not clarified. Authorities found it was Samsidin Fariduni, who entered Turkey on 20 February and left for Russia on 2 March from Istanbul airport after staying at a hotel in the town of Fatih region, the same source noted. This source explains that the man left his hotel on 27 February and published a message “eight times on social media on 23 February from Aksarai district”, located in Fatih. The other suspect, according to this official, is Saidakram Rajabalizonda: arriving in Istanbul on January 5, immediately settled in a hotel in Fatih from which he left on January 21. “He then left for Moscow on 2 March on the same flight as Fariduni,” said the source of security. “We appreciate that these two people were radicalised in Russia because of their short stay in Turkey,” this official stressed. According to one last account, the Crocus concert hall attack on the outskirts of Moscow, the responsibility for which the Islamic State organization took over, left behind 139 dead and 182 wounded. Four main suspects were arrested and detained. They’re facing a life sentence. Among them, at least one is from Tajikistan, according to Russia. Another, arrested along with his father and one of his brothers, was born in Tajikistan and has Russian citizenship, according to the Ria Novosti news agency. Turkish authorities have gone on to 147 arrests of suspects for connections with the Islamic State throughout the Turkish territory, Interior Minister Ali Gerlikaya announced today. In his post on social media X, the minister wrote that police arrested suspects in simultaneous operations conducted in 30 provinces. Suspects emerged to be active members of the Islamic State, that they had participated in armed operations of the organization and that they had helped fund it, according to the minister’s suspension.
