Tempy: Additional lawsuits in Fire Department and coroners from victims’ relatives

Supplemental to the Appeal Interrogator are due to testify today (27.03.2024) relatives of victims of the very dead railway accident in . The lawsuits of relatives of the victims of the Tembe tragedy are for representatives of the authorities who managed the accident, as ERT reports. The investigation is in full progress. Specifically the lawsuits concern representatives of the Fire Department and the Medical Service. The relatives of the victims claim that the coroners were not found on the site of the autopsy accident and only an autopsy was performed. The relatives of the victims even claim that the Fire Department did not see the fire extinguished, enclosing the site. They call for this, a December 2022 law on how to deal with disasters and argue that the site should be blocked and that no one should be allowed to enter other than the representatives of authorities and experts. At the same time they reiterate the claim that “experts were not found at the site of the accident to examine the place, the wagons etc., as 3 4 days later the point was “brought”, the dirt was moved and the wagons were transported, so experts examined them in Koulouri”. Please note that the family lawyer injured and victims’ families, Mr. Luke Apostolidis, has already submitted a written question to the Ephedi interrogator, asking for a written response accordingly as to whether he was present as a prosecutor in the “bazoma”.
