SYRIZA: These are the five members of Think tank Sports – “People with real knowledge and design”

More specifically, the five members of the think tank Sports of SYRIZA Emilios Sabanis PhD in athletic management, a graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science of the University of Athens with a master’s degree in the Administration of Sports Organizations. He is a certified Project Manager from Project Management Institute and has worked with the Organizing Committees of the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic and Paralympic Games, Tokyo 2020, Beijing 2022, Paris 2024, as well as the 2019 Lima Pan-American Games. Panayiotis Panoutsos Talkovski is a specialized Sport Integrity scientist and founder/director of EAGLE Sports Integration Services. On a scholarship from the European Commission he received a Master’s Degree in Sports Ethics and Integration. He has worked in World Athletics, the Economist Group and the National Anti-Doping Organization. George Kaloudis Legal Adviser to Sports Federations and Sports Bodies. He was a legal adviser to the Secretary-General for Sport, a member of the Board of Directors of the National Anti-Doping Council and the Standing Committee on Combating Violence. In 2019 it was proposed by the Permanent Greek Representation to UNESCO as a candidate for Greece to staff the committee of special legal scientists for the revision of the UNESCO International Convention to combat doping. Nikos Leo For several years of wrestling champion Greece, he has participated at all international levels. Former Competition manager of the International wrestling Federation, is Event manager and International department manager in the Greek wrestling Federation. He has studies in sports law and marketing in sports. Theocharis Ispoglu Associate Professor specializing in Physiology of Exercise and Nutrition at Leeds University Beckett, UK. On a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation, he completed his graduate studies as well as his doctorate at the same university. He has 20 years of teaching experience, with more than 100 publications in leading international media such as the Journal of Clinical Nutrition and the Times, participations in international conferences, formal consultations on healthy ageing in the UK and development of supplements against aging saropenia, which he presented to the BBC.
