Student parade in Athens: Which roads will be closed, what you should know

Due to it in Athens on Sunday, March 24th, to celebrate the National Anniversary of March 25, 1821, exceptional traffic arrangements will take place on the streets and avenues of the Municipality of Athens. Drivers will face several closed roads in the center of Athens on both Sunday and Monday 25th of March 2024. Temporary and gradual interruption of vehicle traffic, from 10.00 hour 24-3-2024 until the end of events, as well as a ban on stop-parking of these, from 06.00 hour until the end of events at the following avenues and roads, as follows: – Vass Avenue. Amalia, throughout its length in both traffic currents, as well as its verticals to the first parallel road. – Vass. Sofia, in its section between Sheckery Street and L. Vas. Amalias, in the traffic stream to P. Regiment. – Vas. George I, throughout its length. – El. Venizelos (University), throughout its length and its verticals until the first parallel road. – Vas. Olgas, throughout its length in both traffic currents. – Syngros Avenue, in its section between Ath. Diakou and Dionysios Areopagitos, in the traffic stream to P. Regiment. Drivers are requested to better serve them and avoid additional traffic problems, to avoid the transit and parking of their vehicles on the above roads, highways and squares at the reported intervals and to follow the signals and instructions of traffic regulators. It is noted that on Monday (25/3) student parades will take place in the municipalities of Attica during which Traffic will take the necessary traffic measures.
