The incident happened in the square Κοτζάμπαση in the centre of Chania, when one 81χÏονος priest sat down on a bench, where already was sitting on an underage girl.
According to eyewitnesses, the priest approached the girl and attempted to kiss her and to “θωπεÏσει”.
The girl stand up to me shouting, with the result that to rush and shopkeepers of the area, who called the police.
The 81χÏονος priest originally was brought to the Police station , and then was arrested on charges of violation of sexual dignity.
