(Title) job losses at 30% – 40% will lead to any increase in unemployment in the coming months, considered the Director-General of the Association of Greek Tourist Enterprises (SETE), George Drakopoulos, at an event in Thessaloniki on “Greek Tourism 2020».
The Executive Director of SETE stressed that many companies in the industry are at the limit and said that they would not be surprised if at the end of the tourist period bankruptcies have a number of companies.
During the event presented the position of SETE on the formulation of a new development model for Greek tourism.
As noted, the investigation will be ready in September and formal presentation is planned to be in December. The basic conclusion of the presentation was that the development model followed in the last 30 years our country has largely exhausted its potential and can no longer apply in the future.
