See why the beer bottles are not transparent

Most, if not all of you will have noticed that the bottles of beer is not transparent and is mainly…
green or brown and of course glass.
The glass has been chosen already from the 19th century as an ideal for the storage of beer that keeps fresh for more time.
However, if you initially selected the transparent glass for the bottles, later replaced with color.
But why did this happen?
The problem was created in terms of taste and quality of beer, especially during the summer months. The beer started to smell weird and the foul odor was due to the fact that the transparent glass allowed UV rays to penetrate, changing the smell and the taste of the drink.
So, as a solution was the change of color of the glass. The brown color prevent the radiation from affecting the quality of the drink. The course was added, and the green glass, as the coffee was in short supply after the second World War.
