‘Secret State’: The mini-series that is currently being pinned down in ERT3

The mini entitled “Secret State” produced by M. Britain 2012, which will be completed in four hourly episodes, presents ERT3 as of today Thursday 28 March at 20:00. The series is based on the novel “A Very British Coup”, written in 1982 by Chris Mullin, a former Member of Parliament and Minister of Government, a member of the Labour Party of Great Britain. It is a political thriller, which deepens the relationship between a democratically elected government, the army and major operations, with a cast of film stars including Gabriel Byrne, Charles Dunnes, and the charming Leah Williams, Anna Madeley and Gina McKee. In view of the parliamentary elections, a devastating industrial accident in Teesside, North England, leaves 19 dead and raises questions about the security procedures of an American petrochemical company, PetroFex. The British Prime Minister claims to have secured a compensation package from the company, but on his return from PetroFex headquarters, his plane falls into the Atlantic under mysterious conditions. Deputy Prime Minister Tom Dawkins takes command of the country and in his attempt to discover the truth and vindicate the victims, reveals a conspiracy at the heart of the political system.
