“Save at home” with a subsidy of up to 70%

A community grant of 70% and an interest-free loan for costs of work to a maximum of 25,000 euros in homes that will reduce the consumption of energy can claim households which have a family income of up to € 50,000.
The funding brings the program “Save at Home II” with a total budget of 400 million. euro and managed by the National Fund for Entrepreneurship and Development (ETEAN). The “Nation” reveals today the income criteria that need to have the beneficiaries, to be placed, the categories of incentives, but also interventions that are funded. Such is the replacement window frames and shading, the placement of thermal insulation on the shell of the building, the upgrade of the heating system (boilers) and hot water supply (solar water heaters).
The “Save @ Home II” will be launched, in accordance with information of the “Nation”, at the end of April and qualify for all home owners. The incentive is a subsidy of the costs for the housing interventions, and interest-free bank loan (the interest rate is financed 100% by the ETEAN) with the possibility of a combination of the two above-mentioned forms. Also the beneficiaries have the possibility to use the financial aid and the difference to cover it with their own money.
The maximum eligible budget work is up to 250 euro per square meter with a maximum of 25,000 euros. That is, a residence of 100 sq.m. it will be possible to be financed by a grant and an interest-free loan or with both incentives of up to 25,000 euros. A house of 60 sq.m. will be strengthened for 15,000 euro.
The grant rates of up to 70% and graded according to the amount of income and number of dependants. The more low the income is, the higher is the subsidy rate. This starts from 25% and goes up by 5% per child.
