Rome doesn’t want the Olympic Games of 2024

The candidacy of Rome for the Olympics 2024 ceased to exist from today, after the rejection of the…
from the mayor of the eternal city, Virginia Ράτζι.
The Ράτζι, member of the political movement “Five Stars”, stressed at a Press conference that “it would be irresponsible if we said “yes” to the candidacy for the Olympic games of 2024″.
The recently elected mayor of the Italian capital confirmed the fears of the supporters of Roma 2024, including the prime minister of Italy, Matteo Meet.
The Ράτζι supported the “no” in the financial parameters of the case. “The Olympics is nothing more than a debt for the cities and the countries participating,” he said. “The Games will increase our debt and that is not what the citizens of Rome want and deserve”, added the same.
