Romanians’ purchasing power, near bottom in the EU
Romania stays on the penultimate place in the EU based on its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita in purchasing power standards, with 45 pc of the EU average, less than countries that did not accede to the EU, like Croatia and Turkey, reads a press release issued yesterday by Eurostat.
