Red Sea: Hoothi launched missiles against tanker and Israeli Port

Yemeni people announced that they launched a new missile attack against MADO in the Red Sea as well as against Israeli port Eilat. MADO that was attacked by the Huthi, is a LPG tanker that had departed Saudi Arabia bound for Singapore. In an update to the Huthi representative, who was televised, Yahia Sharia mentioned a “American” ship. However, according to the Equasis database (Electronic Quality Shipping Information System), the flagged Marshall MADO Islands belongs to the company Naftomar Shipping & Trading Co Ltd based in Greece. Since mid-November, Iranian rebels have often launched rocket and drone attacks against merchant ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. They argue that their attacks are an expression of solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which is forged by the Israeli army after Hamas’ unprecedented attack on October 7.
