Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). The political and military uses of the helicopter’s two man crew and with the possibility to transport 12 persons.
In military service the T-625 is going to replace the used today by the armed forces of Turkey UH-1H Huey, and the design of the TAI provides for the development of publications for search and rescue (SAR), αεÏοδιακομιδÎÏ‚ and education.
On the basis of the existing programming in the T-625 will start to perform the first tests in the first half of 2018 and will carry out the maiden flight on 6 September 2018. In the next phase will be implemented the procedures for the certification of the helicopter by an international body.
It is recalled that the contract for the design, development and production of the prototype of the T-625, commissioned by the state secretariat for defence industry (SSM) in the TAI 2013. The objective of the programme is the domestic design and development of a helicopter, but the subsystems of which will be able to compete on an equal footing in the international market.
The T-625 first you sold to the armed forces of Turkey, and then to international users. According to estimates of the TAI, the armed forces of Turkey can absorb 800 helicopters of the type, while international users in addition to 400.
