Prometheus – Colossus Rhodes 84-79: “lock” the four in the Basket League with a victory in extension

He lost the difference he had created, came to lose within Patras to him but sent the match to the extension (75–75) and eventually got the win (84–79) in the match for the 21st Basketball League race. Although he… needed it, Prometheus Patras defeated – in the seat – in extending Colossus Rhodes (84-79) and also mathematically secured the fourth place of the regular season of the Basket League. As in the first round game in Rhodes, it took the extension to judge the winner. The Patriots, although losing a 20-point difference, managed to return from -9 of 36′, sent the game to the extra five minutes and there prevailed 84-79. With this victory Prometheus also mathematically secured the fourth place of the score in the regular season and ahead of the league’s third round. On the other hand Colossus Hotels Collection retreated to 8-13 and missed the opportunity to take a big step for the six. The Rodites remain in a sixth-place orbit and will all be judged for themselves in the next and final race of the second round. For Prometheus who finished the game with 12/47 three points, Reynolds was the first scorer with 22 points and the one who with his own three points put his team back in the game at the end of the regular season. Hale had 15 points with 5/14 shots and Cowan 11 points with 3/11 shots. Konaris also had 11 points with 2/3 shots with the only lost being in the finale of the regular season. For Colossus Rhodes Goudlock had 27 points (6/7 two points) with the only lost three point being in the last 40-minute attack. Papadakis added 11 points and Situ 10. The quarter: 14–4, 33–23, 58–48, 75–75 (n.d.), 84–79 (par.)
