Aarti’s confession stuns Chander Govind updates Alka about the Carbide Factory issue. Nityanand calls for a press conference and wants Alka to address it. Chander talks to Aarti and tells her that she is playing politics similar to that of Nityanand. He makes it clear to her, that he does not approve of reopening the Carbide Factory. Aarti asks Chander to stay away from the factory issue. He asks the reason for it and is petrified when she confesses her love. Chander reminds Aarti that he loves Alka. She tells him that she does not expect anything from him but wants him to know about her love. Abhishek talks to Alka and raises the issue of her slapping Aarti. They both argue over it.
