POS – Cash machines: Over 110,000 businesses that have completed the interconnection

Over 110,000 businesses that have completed their interconnection process with the systems. At the rates recorded in recent weeks – around 5,000 cash machine connections with POS on a daily basis – the project is expected to be completed within schedules. It is noted that, in order to facilitate the implementation of the project, AADE has already started sending e-mails for information on the process of technical and responsible enterprises. At the same time, it is recalled that AADE has set up a special platform for the submission by 1 April of the appointments of the installation technicians with the undertakings responsible for interconnection, which should take place within April. More than 180,000 applications for the 4th financial cycle In addition, it is noted that the applications submitted by the companies concerned in 4 the financing cycle to cover part of the POS market costs and interconnection with the cash register amounted to 184,432. Applications shall be processed in order to obtain the final beneficiaries. More specifically, the applications were submitted under the 4th cycle as follows: Category 1: Supply of new or replacement existing EFT/POS: 79,137 Category 3: Downloading e-invoicing and billing software provider services: 18,777 Category 4: Upgrading of FTM & WE LEAVE for interface with EFT/POS: 58.110 Category 5: Replacement of EACS, except focus operations: 11,819 Category 6: Replacement of PHM (PHM or WEB or EACS) of focus operations: 16,589 It is recalled that in the first 3 cycles Vouchers were approved in 290,975 enterprises with total funding amounting to EUR 40,6 million and the start of the 5th cycle of financing is expected for those who did not join the previous cycles and are entitled to funding. How the deadlines for the POS – cash machine interface are configured It is recalled that the relevant deadlines for connecting POS with cash machines are set as follows: By 31 March 2024 for those undertakings that have not interconnected their systems to contact authorised cash machine installers to complete the process. This extension may be extended until 30 April 2024: – for businesses that have failed to find an available appointment within March, but have a scheduled appointment with an installation technician within April. It is noted that the deadline for the declaration of appointments on the Register of Technical Support Services to be implemented within April is 1 April 2024. FHM installation and support technicians should register on the platform the scheduled appointments with the enterprises responsible for connecting their cash systems with POS. The undertakings responsible for interconnection should check the information on the platform and have the possibility from tomorrow, 23 March to table any disagreements with the listed data. – for businesses that will declare on the POS Registry that they are going to replace their cash system with some of the new available solutions all in one, that do not require additional interconnection actions. Already, two electronic billing providers have been approved with such solutions and very soon more are expected. In order to facilitate the process and cooperation of businesses and technical installations, AADE has already sent mass emails: To installation technicians, in order to be informed about the procedure for declaring appointments with their clients for the month of April.
