Police are tracking a couple of drunks sleeping on a Florida beach while their children have disappeared.

Police officers are desperately trying to wake up a young man who has passed out, after excessive drinking alcohol, on a beach on . The whole incident, it is recorded on the built-in camera brought by uniforms attempting to recover the couple from its extreme intoxication. At the same time, the couple’s two children, aged 5 and 7, were wandering the wider area – in a case that has shocked even the local sheriff. Volusia County police tried a total of eight times to wake Alyssia Langley and Timothy Stephens’ fiancé, both 27 years old, as they were lying on the sand at Daytona Beach Beach on Saturday afternoon (16.03.2024). One of the officers is seen on camera footage pushing Stephens as his hand was wrapped around his friend. ‘Hey, from the sheriff’s office! Wake up!”, sounds like uniforms screaming. When the police managed to wake the couple up, they seemed completely disoriented. A policeman sounds to ask them where their children are, the moment Stephens just makes a gesture towards the ocean as he stumbles into the sand. “Don’t you know where they are? “ The policeman asks. Fortunately, the children were found safe – but unsupervised – platting in their hotel pool within walking distance. During their arrest, police officers found many empty beer cans and an empty bottle of whiskey “and other, unsealed alcoholic drinks”, Fox reports while noting that the 27-year-old is not the biological father of the children, but has “played a role as guardian”.
