PASOK: Government refuses to commit to non-state nonprofit universities

Upon his announcement late in the evening he responded to Minister of State, Makis Voridis, arguing that he witnessed the fraud of the New Republic government over non-profit universities. ‘They refuse to commit themselves to non-state non-profit universities in the context of the revision of Article 16, while all these days they have claimed to legislate ‘non-profit’ annexes,’ stresses the PASOK Press Office’s announcement. At the same time he adds how “they wink at the funds that in four years they will be able openly to exercise their extreme speculative activity.” PASOK states that it remains unwavering in its place to establish non-state non-profit universities and co-formulate the text of the Constitution based on a consensual and substantive process in the revisionary House.
