OVERWHELMING APOCALYPSE: Greeks consider that, after centuries of the TOMB of Christ – SEE what they found… [photos+video]

For the first time in centuries, scientists moved the marble slab of the Holy Sepulchre…
revealing, in a climate of awe and sacred piety, the surface in which it is believed was placed the body of Jesus Christ after the crucifixion.
“The marble cover of the tomb was moved to the back and were surprised to learn a large amount of (indefinable) materials back from it,” said Fredrik Hiebert, an archaeologist of the National Geographic Society, which participates in the restoration work of the Temple.
“The discovery of these materials requires lengthy scientific analysis, but will eventually be in a position to face the surface on which, according to tradition, was placed the body of Christ”, pointed out the archaeologist.
According to tradition, the body of Jesus was placed in a “burial bed”, measuring 2.07 x 1,93 m., carved from limestone in the wall of the cave, in which he was transferred after his crucifixion by the Romans and resurrected three days later, the 30 or possibly 33 m.X.

The Holy sepulchre is in the Church of the Resurrection of the Lord in the Old City of Jerusalem, and was covered by black marble cladding from at least 1555 m.X. The temple is considered to be in the place of Calvary, the hill on which he was crucified and buried Jesus Christ. According to the New Testament, the tomb of Christ was near at the point of the crucifixion: “hn” in the τόπῳ has ἐσταυρώθη κῆπος, and in the κήπῳ μνημεῖον canon, in ᾧ οὐδέπω οὐδεὶς ἐτέθη• 42 there οὖν articles the παρασκευὴν of the Jews, that ἐγγὺς was the μνημεῖον, ἔθηκαν ton Ιησοῦν.” John Gospel s’ 41-42.
It was originally constructed by Saint Helena the mother of emperor Constantine in the mid 4th century. In the cathedral built by St. Helen included the Holy sepulchre, together with the Calvary and the Cave. By then he had great adventures and disasters, and in its present form was constructed in 1810 after a great fire.

The interior of the Holy Sepulchre, is located in the last few months in maintenance phase and rehabilitation from a multidisciplinary team of scientists of the National Technical University of athens, under the guidance of Professor Antonia Μωροπούλου.
The rehabilitation work offer an unprecedented opportunity for researchers to study the surface, which is considered the most sacred of Christianity. An analysis of the original rock can allow them to better understand, not only the original form of the burial chamber, but also how possibly detected by the St. Helena, in 326 m.X.
“We are at the critical point of the restoration of the Tomb,” said mrs. Μωροπούλου. “The techniques that we use for the recording of this unique monument will allow the world to study our findings, as if they were standing themselves in front of the tomb of Christ,” he told the National Geographic.
The recovery program, with the participation of around 50 experts, launched in 2016 after the funding was secured from donors, such as the king Abdullah of Jordan and Mika Ερτεγκούν, widow of co-founder of Atlantic Records, which offered $ 1.3 million, while huge amounts of money were given by all three christian denominations of Orthodox, roman Catholics and Armenians, who manage the Sacred space together. The project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2017.
