Open Arms: Open Gaza ship with humanitarian assistance from Cyprus

Open to it is Friday afternoon (15/3/2024) the ship of the Open Arms organization carrying a barge from Cyprus to the Palestinian enclave. The ship, for which arrangements have been made by the charity World Central Kitchen, carries nearly 200 tonnes of humanitarian aid, in order to be distributed via a dock prepared in Gaza. Soon, he is expected to breathe a second ship. So far little has been known about how the delivery and distribution of humanitarian aid will take place since the ship arrives in Gaza. With UN relief agencies talking about huge obstacles in order to channel supplies to those in need. If the new maritime route proves successful, the famine crisis in the Gaza Strip, where much of the population is faced with malnutrition, can be addressed.
