Sakil McKishik wishes to face him in the Euroleague playoffs. Shaqil McKishik spoke to BasketNews about Olympiacos’ march lately, stressing that the Pirates can become a scary team. The American forward described Panathinaikos as the most difficult opponent of Olympiacos, which he would like in the playoffs for a shocking conflict. In detail his statements at BasketNews : The fact that Olympiacos has found his form at the right time : “This is the case, 100%”, the Olympiacos American points out. “It was a difficult season at the beginning, but it is now developing better,” he continues. “I think the script evolves exactly as it was… written. The last two seasons seemed very easy, as if everything was planned as they evolved. But this year we had our… we had our ups and downs. We fought hard, and now we’re here. We still don’t have Milutinov with us, while Goss and Yannoulis are still not at 100%. I think we can become a very scary group.” For the victory against Panathinaikos and Wright : “We went out and had fun against Panathinaikos at the SEF. Wright was always smiling, he was amazing. “I think when we… laugh at him before the match, he comes out and plays amazingly,” says McKishik about Wright. “We made fun of him that he can’t play well in the first half. He stayed on the floor and played amazingly. When he has no fear of any player, he is different.” For the updates of Fals and Peters and his own series: “I have been here many years, Now whenever new kids come I tell them what to expect from the team and coach.” About whether he would like Panathinaikos opponent in the play-offs : “Prepersi we eliminated Monaco last year Fener. Why choose the easy way this year? Panathinaikos is our most difficult opponent, whether we win or lose. It’s a different feeling and in that order every point counts. Can you imagine going to a five-game series? The entire country should take a week off after that.”
