Nikos Romanos: What else is Mr. Kasselakis waiting for to put Mr. Farantouris out of ballots?

Storm of reactions have caused yesterday’s (26/3/24) statements by Nikos Farantouris about them, that it would be “a happy task for the European prosecutor to bring down the government”… His statements on Tempes were condemned by the Union of Justices and Prosecutors by pointing out in a statement that . He soon after, the New Democracy spokesperson, Nikos Romanos, said: “About 24 hours after the unacceptable, undermining and insulting statements Farantouris about institutions, our Republic and the Supreme Court, the following have happened: 1. The Association of Judges and Advocates issued a communication condemning its unacceptable statements. 2. He not only did not apologize to the Greek judges and prosecutors or did not reconstruct, but came back again insulting the ministers of Justice, after describing as a prime minister conclave those who reacted to his unimaginable statements. 3. SYRIZA fully covered him, confirming once again that the Farantouri line, which is a new version of the line Polaki, is also a central choice of the new leadership. We, however, must insist on the self-evident fact that would take place in every democratic party and ask Mr Kasselakis: What else is he waiting for to put Mr Farantouris out of ballots? HS: Where did the ‘sensitive’ people hide in matters of the rule of law MEPs of Syriza? They informed their colleagues in the European Parliament of their partner’s statements?”.
